Diabetics must be in the know of their vital health, nutrition, and exercise at all times. If you have diabetes, you likely know more about your health than the average person. What you eat and how much you exercise affects how you feel and live. It is important for you as a diabetic to maintain your proper blood sugar levels in order to ensure you stay safe and healthy. You do this by constantly monitoring, taking the proper medications, and eating nutrients whenever possible. But what exercises are best for you to do if you are diabetic?
People with diabetes should mix aerobics with weight training to get the best results in lowering blood sugar, a new study suggests. The combination worked best for weight loss too, compared to aerobics or weight training alone.
The results of a recent study in JAMA [the Journal of the American Medical Association] suggest that aerobic exercise and resistance exercise are the best combinations for diabetics, to control their A1C levels.
